John Hartman - OTR/L, CHT

John Hartman is a 1991 summa cum laude graduate of the University of Buffalo, School of Occupational Therapy. A four-year member of the varsity football team, John served as a team captain his junior and senior years. While at UB he was a two-year recipient of the Dom Grassi Award recognizing athletic and academic excellence.

In 1997 he received national certification as a specialist in the field of hand and upper extremity rehabilitation. After working in the industrial rehabilitation and outpatient settings both in Harrisburg, PA and locally at FF Thompson Hospital, John began private hand and upper extremity practice in 1998. Currently he owns three offices in the greater Rochester area devoted to the evaluation and treatment of individuals with upper extremity injuries. John also serves as an ergonomic consultant for the Occupational & Environmental Medicine Department at University of Rochester's Strong Memorial Hospital. John and his wife Maria reside in Victor with their three children. He enjoys staying active in sports and coaching his children.
